Tricia Lobo
Owner
Tricia obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Northeastern University and her Master’s degree in Special Education from Kean University before launching her teaching career in the public school system five years ago. Now as a full time tumbler, Tricia applies her expertise as a certified Elementary and Special Education teacher to her tumbling classes where she creates a fun and safe environment. She also holds certifications in Safety/Risk Management from the USA Gymnastics Association and Infant and Child CPR from The American Red Cross.
Derek Havran
Teacher
Derek obtained his Masters degree in Education and a Bachelors degree in History from Fairleigh DickinsonUniversity. He taught in New Jersey Public Schools and has been teaching tumbling for 11 years. Derek teaches most of our Champkiz Programs and holds certifications in Safety/Risk Management from the USA Gymnastics Association, a black belt in Brazilian Jiu and CPR from The American Red Cross.
Miss Kim
Teacher
Kim was a nationally competitive gymnast and cheerleader through college, where she attended the University of Massachusetts-Amherst earning a BA in Psychology, Sociology and Education. She then received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Centenary University. She has been coaching gymnastics and cheerleading for 13 years. She is a Recreational Gymnastics Coach member through USA Gymnastics, a Certified Interscholastic Cheerleading Coach through the National Federation of State High School Associations and CPR/AED certified.
Mr. Bobby
Is part of the tumbling family. He has been teaching with us for 5 years. He attended Fairleigh Dickinson in their Education Department. He grew up playing various sports and continued his athleticism to Pro-Wrestling. He uses his entertainment and education background to bring our lessons alive and age appropriate. In his free time he enjoys spending it with his four nieces, Disney, Marvel and eating spicy food.
Mr. Aaron
Teacher
Aaron joins us from graduating from Kean University. He most recently taught 5th and 8th grade English. For the last 5 years he has also taught Karate classes. In his free time he enjoys martial arts, music, skateboarding, comic books, movies and video games. He is fluent in Spanish.
